Call it beginners luck or just a result of all the planets (or gene pools) lining up. But this litter of kits was outstanding. All 4 girls and the buck were show quality. There was also a huge diversity of colour thanks to the blue magpie mom.. Lovie was a favourite from the start. We were constantly trying to guess what colour she was (Smoke pearl, opal, squirrel?) in either event, no matter what colour she is she was well received at her first rabbit show. That weekend she took 2 Best in Breeds with one of them being a lionhead specialty show. She a good solid build, perhaps a little longer in the ear than I would want to see but that is something to consider in future breedings. Lovie went to her second show (SARBA, Chestermere and she won a third BOB) Way to go Young Love! Her name summarizes her personality.
